Things that have gone on lately

This month of December has gone by pretty fast... We had our ward party and they had the bishopric do a play about the 3 Wise Men. The primary kids sang Away in a Manger. Then it wasn't to long that we all have started to get sick. First it was Chase......

Then About the same time as Chase got sick I hurt my neck. It was so bad that Darren had to get my out of bed and help out alot. Mason wanted to try on the neck brace they gave me to help with not moving my neck.

He sports that brace alot better than I did. We also had Masons school do there Christmas program but we weren't able to get a good picture of him but he was dressed as an elf. We did get it on video. Now Darren is sick as I write this post and there is only 3 days till Christmas. I am just hoping that he is well and Mason & I don't get it so we can enjoy Christmas.

Chase and his scooter

Chase has started wanting to ride a scooter everytime Mason is riding his bike with his friends. Since Chase doesn't have a bike yet he is content to ride the scooter.

We are making him wear a helmet and this is the only one we have right now, which is a little big.

Seeing Santa

We went and Saw Santa today and Well they both were excited to see him until it came time to sit on his lap. Mason showing Chase what needs to be done............ Telling Santa he wants a "DRUM SET"

Well it came time for Chase to go and well he wouldn't do it! Darren tried to put him on his lap and he just held on tighter.

Finally we got him to stand by Santa and well this was as close as he was going to get.

When we left to go home Chase told us "I saw Santa!" I then said," you didn't want to sit on Santa's lap?" He just said," yes you are right" "I don't sit on lap". Chase even practiced asking Santa for a Fast Bike.

Guess who got hurt again?

Chase fell last Saturday Nov. 27- He was laying flat on his stomach using the scateboard when I hear him screaming. I run and see no blood! Thank goodness. But wait this happened instead.... I have never had anyone fall this hard to cause this to their head. Needless to say thanks to some good calm friends we were able to stop the swelling and now he is recovering just fine.

I caught him the other day doing this and he told me he was trying to get the sock bugs off his toes and they weren't getting off. So he licked them. Crazy kid!

He just realized I took a picture of doing it and he is about to get mad at me.

Soccer is Over

Soccer ended on Nov. 20. Here Mason is getting his trophey....

Soccer was alot of fun this year. Mason was able to be on his friends team. He says he doesn't konw if he wants to play next year but he is so fast and cordinated that I would hate to see him give it up. We will have to wait and see what happens.

New Photos of US

We had a friend of ours take some family photos of us so we could have a more recent one since the last one was when Chase was a one. He did a great job. I think that when you have a 2yr old that can only sit still for a minute and is wild ....You just pray that they are able to get a few good shots and I think that he did.

This photo was at the end of us leaving and Chase wanted to climb in the tree, I am so glad that he got this on camera because this is really how Chase is Crazy & loud. While Mason just watches him and wonders what is he doing.

Halloween 2010

This year for Halloween we went to my parents house for Darren to go hunting with my dad and brothers. Every year their hunt falls on Halloween. So we have to make sure that we have alot of Halloween things to do so that the kids have fun while the men are gone. This was what happened over the weekend.
DEER HUNTING...... my dad was the only one that got a deer this year and it isn't a very big one either.

Chase is saying GROSS!

Chase wanted nothing to do with the pumpkin carving except to look at the finished pumpkin. We had a fun halloween even though it was on Sunday and weren't able to go trick-or-treating the boys enjoyed what they got to do for Halloween.
