How Shaley sits in the chair

Trey and Shaley fight over this chair everyday that I now need to get another just so they can get along better. Today Shaley got in the chair and turned herself to sit in the chair sideways. Trey had gone over to get in and when he couldn't get in he came to me. Shaley thought she was big stuff sitting in the chair.

Baby Porter

Brandt and Becca came over Sunday night and this was really the first time since Porter was born that the boys got to see him. Porter has gotten chubby but he is a cute little guy and fun to hold. Shaley did not like anyone holding him. She would scream if I held him or if Darren would hold him and even Becca, but if Brandt held him she was ok with that. Shaley really attached herself to Becca tonight to where Becca even had to hold her to eat. Shaley really chooses favorites and wants things her way.

Rollerblading

Yesterday we went to goodwill since it was half price day and I am wanting get find the where's Waldo books. Well Mason has been begging for Rollerblades and we just haven't wanted to pay the money for something when he doesn't really need them. Well yesterday they we found this pair for $3. Since it was half price day we got them for $1.50. Chase of course wants what ever Mason gets and so they also happened to have these beginner skates that are from fisher price and there was no price so the man just gave them up us for $1.50. So once we got home we bleached them and the boys have been nonstop playing with them. They have gotten really good at rollerblading since we got them. Since Saturday was a nice day everybody went outside to play and Shaley would come up to the screen and talk to me. She thought she was pretty funny that she could put her face up against the screen and not fall.

Got GLASSES

Shaley and Trey get along sometimes but most of the time they are fighting over the same toy or Shaley just feels like slapping Trey. Well they both found some glasses that Mason and Chase had left down stairs and kept wanting to wear them. They thought they were so funny when they out on the glasses.

Snow/Hail

Last night we were all bummed that we are living where it doesn't snow. We had just seen our old house on Facebook with a lot of snow making us bummed that we wouldn't be able to go sledding or anything. Then before we knew it, it started doing this hail. So the boys went crazy. Darren told them not to get their clothes wet so they went in their underwear. Finally he let them get clothes on and they had some fun. We miss seeing snow on the mountain around us. But the little weather change we got yesterday was fun.

How Mason eats an Apple

The other day Mason was eating an apple and came to me to show me how much he ate. He was so proud that he ate almost the whole thing.

Presidents Day

This year we just stayed home. Darren worked so our friends invited us to go with them to this reserve by our house. They have a place you can dig for dinosaur bones, hike around, there are walls to climb on and even fishing. Well there was this tree that caught the boys eyes to play in. It's a fun place that we will have to go again.

Silly Trey

Trey is constantly making us laugh. This day he wanted to wear his the helmet.

Guys night

Darren took the boys out for a guys night. They went to eat at Wiener schnitzel. Chase thought that was a funny name. After they ate Darren bought them a sundae and it was a lot bigger than they thought if would be so that's what the boys thought was the best part of the meal. Darren didn't think about taking a picture until after they had finished.

Their favorite spot

Shaley and Trey love to get on the couches and sit at the top looking out the window. They will look out the and watch their brothers play or just watch outside talking. I think they wish they could be out there.

A balloon

Trey and Shaley got balloons and before we got home Shaley had popped hers. But Trey had his and this has been his best toy to play with. For nap time we had to put it in their room. Who knew this balloon could be so much fun for Trey.

VALENTINES day

Today is Valentines day and Chase had been counting down for the past week. Today is the school parties and valentines to pass out. We wrote out their Valentines this year on sacks of sour gummy worms because those are the boys's favorites. Today when the boys woke up we had given them their valentines which was; cherry peeps, chocolate marshmallow, and a candy dispenser. I went up stairs to get dressed so I could take Chase to his school program and while I was getting dressed I could hear the twins down stairs. Then it got pretty quite but I thought they were just being really good playing with toys. Well they were being really good by eating chocolate. They had pulled the table cloth off with the valentines treats falling onto the floor into their little hands. When Chase got down stairs he saw them eating the chocolates and said,"great they ruined my valentines day. Now valentines day is ruined. Not fair they are eating my valentines and not Masons." I think I will need to run to the store and replace his valentines candy so it can be a good day again.
Chase had a song to sing at preschool today and he wasn't singing so I will have to find out if he didn't sing because his valentines day was ruined by the twins eating his candy. (No photos of the twins in all the chocolate mess. I should have taken a photo but was hurrying to get Chase out the door and not get chocolate on my white shirt.) Darren got me some flowers and I got him some of his favorite treats, the twins got socks but obviously they wanted chocolate.
Chase made this heart at school for Darren and I. It says "My Heart Throbs for You".

Shaley's Bump

Shaley is walking a lot now and that means more bumps and bruises. This one she feel and hit the door hinge.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chase and I made some cookies today and after the babies nap I decided to give them their own cookie. I usually try to feed them some so they don't make a huge mess. Well it was Trey and Shaley's lucky day. They got put in their high chairs and they went to town with the cookies. After they enjoyed them selves they were given baths because I couldn't get the mess wiped up that well.
