It's Spiderman and Chase

Today at preschool they did face painting and Mason chose Spiderman.... This is what I saw when I went to pick him up from school....
Chase finally got his haircut and he looks like a different kid. We weren't sure how he would do because the last time was bad. But she had her clippers where no hair fell on him so he sat still and she worked fast.

Chase just went to the doctor for his 2 year check up and he is 33lbs and 35 1/2 inches. He wears a size 8 shoe and a size 3t, he is our big boy. He is starting to talk alot and it is so much fun to hear how he says the things we tell him to say. He is getting alot better with his behavior as well. We just love both of our boys very much.
Side note for journaling: I signed Mason up for kindergarten which starts Aug 4 and it kind of made me sad to think that our little baby is growing so fast. They do all day from 8-2:30pm so it will be nice to be alone with Chase but it is hard to know that things will never be the same.

Happy Birthday Chase!

Today Chase turns 2! I can believe how fast they grow. We did not do to much for his birthday since he won't really remember and doesn't know what to expect. We had cupcakes and sang happy birthday and opened presents all before 8:00 am. Darren had to work and Mason had preschool and then a Tball game tonight so it just worked out best.

We kind of had his birthday at different times. On conference weekend my parents decided to come up and bring Chase his presents and so we had cupcakes and celebrated it. Then Darrens parents mailed Chase a present and so we opened it then. Then we had his real birthday with cupcakes. He weighs: 34 lbs and is 33 inches tall. He wears a size 3T and a shoe size 8. He is our big boy! He now defends himself against Mason. He also has started to talk but you can't understand him. He is getting alot of funny expressions and makes us laugh with the things he does. We love him and our glad he is in our family even though he can be a challenge.

Tball

Tball started today and Mason is number 5. He was very excited to be playing.

Darren went to the game today since I had to stay home with Chase. He said that the kids get to bat twice and they get to play different positions. Mason got home and said that his team won and he never once got touched with the ball. Most of the games are at night so it will be interesting to see how well he does since he is so tired at night. GO DODGERS!

TUBES IN THE EARS

1 Week ago we went to the Ears, Nose and Throat Specialist to see about getting Tubes in Chases ears. He has had alot of ear infections and when we would go back to see if they were better they would still have fluid in them. Dr. Downs scheduled us to get his Tubes put in on April 9, 2010 at 8:00 am in Flagstaff. So when we confirmed the appointment they tell us we need to check in at 6:45 am so that means we have to leave our house 1 hour and 20 mins before that.

So we get there and are so tired and Chase is doing ok but we know that when it comes time to take off his PJ'S or Shoes that we will have a problem. He was very hard to handle for the whole time. They brought him some toys, stamps, sun glasses and even some of the nurses were trying to be funny. He kept wanting to see Darren and Mason who were in the waiting room. But we new that he doesn't really like them as much as me and so I was the won that was chosen to take him. The Dr came and said that the procedure would be about 5 min, which it was very fast. It was hard for me to have them take him from me and him screaming MOMMY. I just felt bad.

When he was done they came and got us from the waithing room and as I walked back I could hear him screaming and crying, (which everyone warned us about). When it was over they were trying to get him to drink since he had been fasting since dinner. He wouldn't so they had to try other things. Which this is what won...........
Today Chase is doing alot better, not as fussy. Next week we go to see the Dr. to check on his ears and to do a little hearing test to see if the tubes worked on his hearing because before the Dr would do a hearing test and Chase wouldn't even notice the sounds. So we will see what the future is for Chase.

Not wanting to get a picture

This year the Easter Bunny gave the kids a summer outfit instead of church clothes. I wanted to get a picture of them in the outfit and this is what I got for a picture..... Mason mad that he has to try his clothes on and take a picture..... Chase not wanting to show his face... He was saying CHEESE through his hands.
