Morning Walk

Today we went by our house to the little lake to walk around and look at the ducks. The twins had fun feeding the ducks. I didn't get a photo but Shaley climbed up the whole fence to the top and was just going to hang out up there but we thought for sure she was going over board. We are sure liking the nicer weather finally.

Crazy Hair/Mustache Day

Today at the boy's school was their first dress up day, crazy hair and mustache day. We sprayed their hair. As we sprayed it on them it was cold to their heads that Chase didn't like the way it felt ( he got it done the best we could). Masons was a lot darker. I bought mustaches but they would not stick so we just drew with a makeup crayon their facial hair.

Grandparents Day

Grandparents day was yesterday at the boy's school. Since both grandparents don't live close by and can't come I decided that I would go. When we found out that they would over lap Mason said he would have Michelle come with him so that I could go with Chase. (Chase has a mean teacher and is not liking school because of that.) We took subway to eat. The boys were so excited to have a guest but Mason is very  friendly so he kind of forgot to entertain his guest. Mason ate lunch first and while he was eating I was waiting for Chase. I start seeing some kindergarten classes come and can't find Chase. Then all of a sudden I see him crying, he couldn't find me and was sad and scared. Poor guy. So we go in the cafeteria and he starts eating and drinking his drink. He drinks his whole drink and then says my tummy doesn't feel good. I say are you going to throw up and he says yes. We run to the trash but its too tall and then we hurry to find someone and he runs out the doors and their is a bathroom he runs into. He makes it and throws up. He got to go home early even though he felt so much better. We were so happy that Aunt Michelle could come eat lunch with the boys.

Darren's car

On Thursday Darren called me about 9:00 am and said he had a blow out on the freeway. I thought he was calling for me to come get him but he was informing that he was going to need to call the insurance because it did some damage. He said,"I had to tie the bumper back on to drive the car the rest of the way to work". He said it was one of the scariest times he had been through lately. He was close to the HOV lane so he worked his way into the HOV lane and then off to the side. Not giving himself much space to change a tire. It was the front right tire. He then said after getting all situated he then said a prayer to get off the freeway without getting in a wreck. Because it was rush hour and speeding cars and he would just be getting in the freeway going slow on the fast side. He was defiantly watched over that day. We are waiting to see what the insurance says about fixing it or not. The car is not worthy much but we don't want to try and buy a car at this point. We need to try and save some mire money. Fingers crossed everything works out for us.

Chili's

We wanted to do something fun for the older boys that they don't get to do very often so we took them out to dinner. They wanted to go Chili's. They enjoyed ordering their own food. They liked drinking root beer from the bottle.  Even when dinner was over Chase hurried and ordered the big cookie with ice cream. He just thought this was the best.

Mason's first pack meeting

Mason had his first pack meeting for Boy Scouts and boy did he have fun. They welcomed the new boys by having a donut eating contest which Mason won.

Chase's 1st lost tooth

We noticed a little while ago a tooth was growing in for Chase behind his front tooth. At that point we knew that the tooth that was loose had to come out. We wanted to just pull it out but he wouldn't let us. So Chase started wiggling it like crazy. (With help from all of us to get it to fall out). Finally on Wednesday I told Chase he needed to get it out by himself or his dad was going to pull it when he got home. Well 5:15 came and Darren was home and the tooth was still in his mouth. So Darren looked at trying to wiggle it but Chase was not letting him. So Darren had a wash cloth on his finger because that's what Chase wanted. So Darren tried to get his finger in his mouth and Chase hurried and bit down on the wash cloth giving Darren the opportunity to just pull the wash cloth out. When Darren did that the tooth flew out. So of course we all cheered load. It had surprised Chase that it didn't hurt since it was so loose. Chase was so glad it was out because now he can show everybody his missing tooth.
