RAIN

The Last 3 days we have been hit hard with rain. Since our house is new their is no landscaping done except for what was already there from the parking lot. So since nothing has been done we are just getting mud puddles.

The Twins

I tried to take the babies photos together and that wasn't happening. Then I tried to take their photos alone and it still wasn't happening. So this is what we got.... I thought their clothes were the cuties thing (thanks to Marlene) and had to show them off in a photo since we don't go anywhere.

 Shaley is standing everywhere she can. Her and Trey like to stand by the gate and talk. Then Shaley will call where ever and pull herself up. This spot was her favorite for awhile because it had a night light.

10 YR ANNIVERSARY

On August 2 2012 Darren and I had our 10 yr anniversary. We were moving and so we didn't do anything. So once we got moved and settled we had my parents come and watch the kids for the night and we went the BOULDERS RESORT in Scottsdale. Jenny my friend works their and was able to get us an awesome room and rate, along with good deals on massages.

 Jenny was awesome and getting the room all decked out in roses and candles....

I made Darren stand in the photo.. so he gave a pose. We got to the resort about 8 pm Aug 17 and went down for a free desert. I got the yummy chocolate cake and Darren chose a strawberry shortcake. Well the cake was a biscuit and so he ate the strawberries and shared the cake with me. The next morning we went to breakfast and then had massages at 10am. The massages were so nice. Darren though said his lady rubbed his butt. I guess our people all did different things. We did leave wanting to get a massage everyday. It was a nice getaway from taking care of kids. But I was wanting to sleep in and for some reason I didn't sleep very well. For one thing I should have brought my own pillow. It is hard to believe that we have been married for 10years. We love each other so much and have 4 awesome kids.

First day of school in Gilbert

First day of 2nd grade AUG 8 2012

We got here just in time for Mason to start school. They have 4 classes per grade. I was so nervous for him and you could tell he was nervous. We packed him a lunch and all planned to take him to school. They have to provided everything that they might need to use at school, Like- copy paper, pencil, crayons, markers, pencil box, 24 glue sticks, elmers glue, dry erase markers, note books, etc. plus you had to buy the agenda books that they will be using for the year. So that was different from what we were used to bringing. We leave the house in plenty of time for school to start at 7:54am we get to the school around 7:40 and the line to drop off or even to park is crowded. We finally had Darren and Mason get out and take him to the door. After school I go to get him and school gets out at 2:45pm and I left my house at 2:50 and still waited in the drive pick up line for about 20minutes (I hate that this is all they have to get the kids unless you walk and we leave to far away to walk). Mason gets in the car and I ask," How was your day?" and that is when the TEARS came. He has NO friends and WANTS to move back to Cottonwood. He did NOT want to move here. I felt so bad that I start to cry wanting to move back to where it was easier and we know everybody. He said all the kids ran by me and I sat by myself at lunch. Well we challenged him to find a friend the next day. In his class it is only him and one other new kid. So he played with the new kid the second day. Then the 3rd day he played tag with the kids. This is a new week and he  plays tether ball with the kids. I went to enrichment and met a mom that her son wants to play with Mason so bad. So that was good to hear and told Mason that he was going to have a friend from church. We will continue to see how school goes and we all know that it can't get any worse for him... It can only get better.

CHASE

Chase has been writing his name for awhile but then sometimes he would forget the letter A and so we have been practicing and so after we did school work he came to me with his name written in colors he said. He also doesn't take naps but this one afternoon he was laying down talking to himself and playing and then it got quite and this is what I saw....

The Twins these days....

They are everywhere and into everything... They can say momma and they cry alot.... They are getting ALOT of teeth and fast... They like to EAT...They now know there is competition between the two..... They have learned to climb the stairs and by Treys head they don't know how to go down them yet. So baby gates are up....

July 30- Swimming

This was Shaley and Treys first time to go swimming. My mom and I were staying in a hotel in Mesa because the next day we were going to Cottonwood for the babies 9 month check up. So we had Shanes family and Brandts family come swimming as well. The babies were in the pool for about 15 minutes when they started to look like they were going to burn. Even with sunscreen. They liked the water even though they were only in it for a few mintues.

 I forgot Treys bottoms but had the swim diapers and Shaley is wearing my old suit as a baby.

 Chase and Mason had to have these and Chase just puts them on too funny for us....
