OUT of AFRICA
Today we decided to take the kids to OUT OF AFRICA by Camp Verde because we had free tickets and then realized that we hadn't been since we had Chase. The Boys loved it and Chase was so excited to feed the Giraffe the carrot and to touch the snake. On our way to the park Chase would say,"I touch big snake"so when we got there he could hardly wait. He LOVED riding on the bus to see the animals. When it was over he just wanted to stay on the bus. Here is the pictures from our trip.......
Cooling off and waiting for tiger splash to start
Tiger splash, only one tiger wanted to join the fun today, her friend didn't want to get in the cage

Put Your Hands UP
The boys have been playing cops and getting the bad guys out of our house! I have been very surprised at how well the boys have gotten along during Fall break. Mason and Chase have been playing alot better that I think Chase is going to miss Mason when he goes back to school. But until then they will continue to play cops and hopefully continue to get along.

Remi's Baptism weekend
On Saturday 10-9-10 we went to St. Johns to see Cousin Remi get Baptized. It was a 3 1/2 hr drive for us and the kids did great! Chase told us everytime he needed to stop to go to the bathroom which was AWESOME!
At the baptizm Chase loved to sing the songs and kept telling us the whole time,"Remi get baptized." They had asked my grandpa Howard to talk on Baptizm and then they asked Darren to talk on the Holy Ghost. Mason was asked to say the closing prayer. We asked Mason if he would like to practice the prayer and he told us no. But when he gave the prayer it was really good and was about a couple of minutes long. Afterwards people told him he did a good job and did better than some adults do. Here is Shane and Remi- Remi is the oldest cousin and so it was good example for Mason and Chase to see there cousin get baptized.

On the way to St. Johns there is a place you can stop and look at Dinosaur statues and then look at the petrified wood.
This one piece of petrified wood cost $1500.00 and then the shop that Mason wanted to buy something in had a sign that said you break it you bought it. So we had to keep Chase outside because he wouldn't let us hold him. Mason wanted to buy something and so Darren took him in first. Well he was in there for 15min and couldn't decide on what to get so then I took him in and he looked and looked and then saw a knife and I said no. We are at the petrified wood gift shop get some petrified wood. He didn't want to so I took him out to leave and Darren went in and told him that he had 10 seconds to get something and he chose 3 rocks that are blue which look like I found them in my yard and then shined them up. They were $5.00. Next time we are going to just get the souvenir that goes with the place we are stopped at and not let the kids go in to choose something because we ended up being there for 1 hour.
But over all the kids enjoyed the little time away and want to go back to visit.
