Soccer has started again

Today was the first game of the new season and Mason is on the INFERNO team again. He has one of his old coaches Seth and then he has a new coach Brian. Mason is also #2 which he was not happy about because he wanted to choose his number.

This is the new team. There is one boy hiding behind the banner because he didn't want a picture. There is 6 team member and 2 of them are Mason's friends Thomas and Spencer. (whos dads are the coaches) Today was the first game and it looks like this year might be a little bit harder. Last year Masons team won all the games. This game they didn't do very well at all. Mason said," I can't believe we lost." He does not like to lose. I guess it will teach him how to be a good sport about the game.

First Football Game

Friday night Sep. 10 2010 was Mingus Marauders first home game. Chase hasn't ever been to a game and so this year we decided to go. He was excited to go and when we got there it was nice but then he had to go to the bathroom and we had to walk across alot of people. So Chase and I decided to leave at half time. While Darren and Mason got a ride with some friends.

We decided to take the boys out to dinner before the game and we had ordered our food and Darren gets a call from the Alarm company that someone had broke into the store. We get alot of calls about the alarm going off but this time they said that someone entered. So he took off leaving me and the boys to wait for our food and eat. Come to find out know one had entered and The cops never came. That shows how good the Cottonwood Cops are. Darren got back and we had finished our dinner and waited for him to eat. Then it was off to the game. The football game was a good game except toward the end of the game the starting quaterback got hurt. I just hope that the season goes good!

Neighborhood fun!

This is a boy named "Fin" that is in Mason's class and he lives about 4 house away from us and so fin and his brother Liam come and get Mason to play almost everyday.

They wanted me to take a picture of them with there bikes. Chase was wanting to ride bikes with them and would try to do everything they would do.

Singing

I bought last year at the after Christmas clearance an IPOD Kareoke machine for $10 and we got it out the other night and the boys love it. They love to hear their voices and sing to Justin Bieber "Baby". Chase knows that whole song and always wants to listen to it. We definately have Bieber Fever in this house!

Potty Time

August 9, 2010 was my official potty day. Chase has been using the potty off and on. So we decided that since Mason was gone to school that what better thing to do than to get Chase Potty Trained for good. He loves to go potty in the big potty, outside and sometimes in the little potty.

He has been doing really well. The first week it was hard to get him to poop in the potty even though he had done it before. Now the only thing that he won't tell us is when he needs to pee. So I have to be asking him still if he needs to go. He will tell me when he needs to poop.

Today we were trying to take a nap and he kept telling me he needed to poop in the toilet and so we would get up and he would go. Then he would say all done. We would return to the bed and within 5 minutes he would say the same thing again that he needed to poop. We would go to the bathroom and again he would make him self go. He thought that it was funny that he would get out of his nap.

Chase is loving that Mason goes to school because then it is all about him. But Chase can't wait to ride the school bus.

He is coming along better on his speech. We had a speech therapist come for a little bit and now we have a sensory worker coming to try to work on some other issues that he has.

First day of KINDERGARTEN 8-4-10

Today was a big day for Mason he started Kindergarten. I can't believe my little baby is growing up so fast. We went yesturday to the preview day and he was really nervous holding my hand and not letting go. Then today I was a little emotional and then before we left he started to cry but didn't want us to know that he was crying. Then we get to school and he sees some friends who are first graders and then he goes to his class puts his backpack up and then just runs off playing. Darren called him over to tell him by and then we left and he didn't even notice that we were leaving. (probably a good thing) They go all day at Clarkdale from 8:15 - 2:30 Chase wanted to stand by Mason

My grandparents haven't been up here for a while and came up to visit and so we took a photo before we all went our seperate ways.

One last trip before school starts

My parents decided to have us all get together one last time before school starts for everyone: So we stayed in a hotel and went swimming! This picture was taken the day the boys got their goggles. I just thought it was a cute one. Chase learned to jump in and go under water.............

Mason got so brave he started to dive in and swim, even though he had us buy him a life jacket he didn't hardly wear it.

We gave Addy pepsi with out her parents knowing. She would walk by us and then just put her mouth on the straw and then hold it herself.

We then went and saw Aubrey, Ben and Zane and Aubrey's parents. The boys liked getting to know Zane.

We had alot of fun and Loved seeing all of our cousins and Grandparents.
